McDaniel Woodworks is a custom woodworking company based in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Our mission is to provide fine craftsmanship, uncluttered design and excellent communication on every project, no matter how big or small. With over two decades of experience in both the construction trades and cabinet shops, we understand the uniqueness of each home and project, and the importance of collaboration with our clients.

Drew McDaniel began working in the construction trades in 2005 while living in Minneapolis. After learning the rough carpentry side of things, he then apprenticed with master finish carpenters and cabinet makers, learning different approaches to design as well as a wide range of construction techniques and best practices, before starting his own business in 2011. A graduate of University of Michigan, he moved back to Ann Arbor with his wife and son in 2021, and is happy to be back in this town of quirky houses and interesting people. He is also an accomplished musician and home recordist.
